Her work experience has given her the opportunity to serve in construction and engineering sectors which has provided knowledge of infrastructure development. Her competences include public sector procurement principles and practices,
project management and engineering design.
Miss Williamson is a Director of Female Development World Organization’s (FDWO), and the Environmental Sustainability Chair. The organization expertise is providing awareness and developing strategies to mitigate world issues such as environmental sustainability, at risk youth and human trafficking awareness. She is a member of the Caribbean Anti-Trafficking Committee (CAC), Commissioned by Jamaica Consul General to
Miami.
Ms. Williamson’s professional career started in Fort Lauderdale, Florida after graduating from Howard University, Washington DC. Once she relocated to Jamaica she has been working at the National Works Agency (NWA) as a Civil Engineer and more
recently Major Projects Manager. Her role at the NWA oversees Public Procurement and the management of construction projects such as road rehabilitation works and construction contract administration. Additionally, her skills include Environmental Post
Disaster Needs Assessments.
Ms. Williamson professional affiliations include but not limited to being a member of Jamaica Institute of Engineers, Clarendon Alumina Production Ltd. where she hopes to assist with the implementation of real change that supports the entities objectives.
