The PLAY Program (Providing Leadership through Awareness to Youths) is an exciting initiative in the City of Lauderhill designed to inspire and empower young minds aged 8–17.
Held twice a month for three months, this engaging program, funded by the Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO), provides a safe space for Broward County youths to learn, grow, and connect.
With experienced teachers and administrators, participants explore critical topics like human trafficking awareness, environment/climate action, emotional intelligence, and self-expression through the arts.
Delivered through interactive modules, printed materials, and age-appropriate videos, the program ensures a fun and impactful experience for your child.
Participants gain valuable skills such as identifying the warning signs of abuse, managing emotions, promoting sustainability, and creatively expressing themselves.
Successful attendees receive a Certificate of Completion and enjoy a field trip to the Museum of Discovery and Science, celebrating their achievements.
